Answers for Business Owners

We believe in transparency. Below are the Frequently Asked Questions we receive regarding our debt mediation and restructuring services.

Do you guarantee results?

No. Outcomes vary based on creditor posture, debt structure, available collateral, and your settlement capacity. We cannot ethically guarantee a specific result, but we do guarantee a persistent, document-driven effort on your behalf.

Are you a law firm?

No. JR Financial Consultants, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We are financial consultants. If your situation requires legal counsel, we recommend you retain an attorney while we handle the financial negotiation track.

What if a lawsuit is pending?

We can still assist. We can review the matter and coordinate the negotiation track. Often, we work in parallel with your legal counsel to pursue a settlement that resolves the litigation.

What debts do you work with?

We work with trade debt, business loans, lines of credit, insurance arrears, commercial real estate default situations, and business transfer-related obligations.

How do you get paid?

Our model is performance-aligned. We charge a 35% success fee on the savings we generate when a negotiated outcome is accepted. In special cases, a deposit may be required, which is disclosed upfront.

Do you require a deposit?

Most qualified engagements are no-success/no-fee. However, for complex multi-creditor matters or urgent escalations, a deposit may be required.

What do you need from me?

We need facts. We require current financial statements, creditor documents/contracts, and a realistic schedule of funds available for settlement.

Do I still need an attorney?

If litigation or bankruptcy is actively involved, legal counsel is appropriate. We do not provide legal advice, but we can support the financial strategy.
